Termite Control Ultima

Termite inspections, treatments and prevention for Ultima and the northern Mallee. Local knowledge and biology-driven methods, with AS3660-compliant reporting from an accredited Field Biologist.

Why Ultima homes face real termite pressure

Ultima is deep grain country — dry Mallee where termite pressure is lower than river districts but never zero, concentrating wherever moisture gathers: watered gardens, tanks and troughs, leaks, and the shaded south sides of buildings.

The housing stock is wheatbelt timber on stumps, with farm properties carrying sheds, old sleepers and stored timber as the district’s main termite estate — and with empty or lightly used buildings common, activity gets extra time to run unnoticed.

The right inspection out here is moisture-led and thorough on the outbuildings. Annual is the cycle we recommend. We start with the biology — species, nest, and why they’re there — so the treatment deals with the colony at its source.

Ultima termite questions

Is it worth inspecting in country this dry?

Yes — dry-district damage exists, and it’s almost always found late because nobody expected it. The pattern is constant: a moisture point, old timber, and years without a look. An annual inspection breaks that pattern cheaply.

I’ve found termites in my home — what should I do?

Leave them undisturbed and don’t spray them. Disturbing termites makes them retreat and re-route, which makes the colony harder to find and treat. Cover the area if you can and call us on 0467 857 177 — we’ll identify the species and treat the colony at its source.

Can several properties be done on one run?

Yes — we run the northern Mallee as a circuit, so neighbouring farms and town homes can be scheduled together. It’s the efficient way to cover this country, for you and for us.
