Pest Control Bendigo

Spray-and-pray pest control treats the symptom. BPTS identifies why pests are present — species, harbourage, food, entry — and solves it at the source.

How it works

Identify first, then treat

The order matters. Treating before you know what you’re dealing with is how a problem keeps coming back.

1
Identify the species

A white-tail and a huntsman need different responses. So do German and native cockroaches. Identification comes first, because it decides everything after it.

2
Find the harbourage

Pests live in cracks, wall voids, roof spaces, appliance motors and nests — not in the middle of the hallway. The inspection works out where they actually are.

3
Work out why they’re there

Moisture, a food source, a gap in a seal, vegetation against the wall. There’s always a reason, and it’s usually fixable.

4
Targeted treatment

Registered products placed where the pest lives and travels — gel baits, transfer baits, dusts or residual treatment, chosen for the species and the building.

5
Prevention advice

Every job ends with what to change so the conditions that attracted them stop working in their favour.

Why BPTS

A Field Biologist reads pests differently

Joel holds Field Biologist accreditation, HACCP certification and a full Victorian pest control licence. Every treatment starts with identification — because the species determines the method, and the cause determines whether it comes back.

Species identification first

A white-tail and a huntsman need different responses. So do German and native cockroaches.

Treat the harbourage, not the hallway

Pests live in cracks, voids, motors and nests — treatment goes where they actually are.

Prevention advice included

Moisture, food sources and entry points — every job ends with what to fix so pests stay gone.

Termites are a separate discipline. They’re managed under different standards — see Termite Control Bendigo.

FAQs

Pest control FAQs

Do you treat homes and businesses?+

Both — residential across Bendigo and Central Victoria, and HACCP-compliant commercial programs for food and care businesses.

Are treatments safe for kids and pets?+

Registered products are applied strictly to label, in targeted placements rather than blanket sprays. Any simple precautions for your household are explained before treatment starts.

Do you identify the pest before treating?+

Always. Species identification is the first step on every job — it decides the product, the placement and the advice that follows.

What does pest control cost?+

It depends on the pest, the property and what’s driving the problem. Call 0467 857 177, describe what’s happening, and Joel will talk you through a quote.

Will I need a follow-up visit?+

Some pests are resolved in one treatment; others — rodents and heavy cockroach infestations in particular — are managed with monitoring and follow-up. You’ll know which applies to your job before it starts.

What about termites?+

Termites are their own discipline, managed under Australian Standards AS 3660 and AS 4349.3 — see Termite Control Bendigo for inspections, treatment and prevention.

Which areas do you cover?+

Bendigo and the surrounding Central Victorian towns — more than 80 areas in all, from Kangaroo Flat and Strathfieldsaye out to Heathcote, Castlemaine and the Macedon Ranges.

Servicing: Bendigo CBD, Kangaroo Flat, Strathdale, Epsom, Eaglehawk, White Hills, Golden Square, Kennington, Flora Hill, Huntly, Maiden Gully, Strathfieldsaye, Heathcote, Castlemaine, Kyneton, Daylesford, the Macedon Ranges and 80+ more areas →
